We start with an honest look at where things stand today — your programs, capacity, data, and the friction points pulling focus from what matters most.
A boutique consulting firm partnering with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations on program management, strategy, and fundraising.
Bow Seat Consulting brings the rigor of large-scale national program management to the close, mission-driven work of nonprofits and foundations.
Every engagement is collaborative, data-informed, and built on respect for the communities organizations serve. Whether you are defining your next strategic chapter, building donor relationships, or standing up a new program, the work provides the structure and clarity to get you there.
The result is steady, disciplined partnership: clear plans, dependable execution, and decisions grounded in evidence rather than guesswork.
Most organizations don't lack effort or talent — they lack a clear, structured path forward. This framework brings order to the noise and turns priorities into progress.
We start with an honest look at where things stand today — your programs, capacity, data, and the friction points pulling focus from what matters most.
Together with leadership and key stakeholders, we define a clear future state and translate it into priorities everyone can rally behind.
We build the structure that holds: governance frameworks, defined ownership, milestones, and budgets that turn priorities into a workable plan.
We establish a steady rhythm of review and course correction, so momentum continues — and the plan stays alive — long after the engagement ends.
Focused, evidence-based support for organizations defining their next chapter, building donor relationships, or standing up a new program.
End-to-end oversight of complex, multi-year programs: governance frameworks, milestone tracking, budget management, risk mitigation, and partner alignment that keeps every workstream moving together.
Collaborative, data-driven planning that helps organizations clarify direction, set measurable goals, and build sustainable capacity for long-term impact.
Strengthening donor pipelines, crafting compelling outreach materials, and building systems for sustained funder engagement and relationship management.
The rower in the bow seat steers the boat and must be technically sharp and highly aware of both set and balance. That is the discipline behind the work.Precise planning, balanced execution
Founder & Owner
Ayesha is a program management and engagement leader with more than 14 years overseeing complex, multi-year national initiatives. She spent the core of her career delivering federally funded programs, where she built governance frameworks, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and turned data into decisions for boards and funders.
Her path is grounded in cross-sector experience few practitioners can claim. Before moving into research and program management, Ayesha worked in television production on nationally syndicated programs in New York City. That work sharpened the cross-functional coordination, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills she brings to every client engagement.
She founded Bow Seat Consulting to bring that full range of discipline to nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations: program management that delivers, strategic planning built on measurable goals, and fundraising that sustains the work. Ayesha is based in Buffalo, New York, and is completing an MBA at the University at Buffalo.
